A puppy was lying in a corner, hopeless to escape the dire circumstances it was in. Numerous people were moved by his story because no animal should have to go through what he did. We willingly shower our dogs with love when we think of them. Every meal, compliment, and interaction we have with them gives us another chance to celebrate our shared love. However, the dog in this tale had never experienced being loved. Fortunately, though, everything was about to change.

We don’t know his entire history. Since he was able to understand some of the people’s instructions, volunteers with the Philippine Animal Rescue Team believe that he once belonged to someone.

After that, what happened is a mystery. He had a severe skin condition when he was discovered amid a pile of trash, with ants crawling on his exposed skin. He had an awful odor emanating from the inside out. The poor little dog had advanced mange, lost most of his hair, and experienced pain when walking in the sun because of his exposed skin.

The little puppy was in a lot of pain if he was lying on the ground since he was so severely underweight that he was just bones. He was worn out and felt quite weak.

He located a depressing spot on a pile of trash and waited for his moment to arrive there. However, a group of volunteers made the decision to completely alter this circumstance.

Watch this video to learn how two rescue volunteers from the Philippines prevented the pug from meeting an unknown end. He was treated for distress and mange at the veterinarian. Also addressed was his malnutrition. A high-calorie meal and intravenous fluids were given to him.

The dog will be kept as comfortable as possible by the Philippines Animal Rescue Team until he starts to recover. For this canine, now known as Chief, nothing is guaranteed.

Although it is impossible to predict whether he would live or die, it is certain that he spent his final days surrounded by all the love and care that his circumstances prevented.

Despite everything he did desire to change his fate, it is worth their while to give him a genuine shot to fight. The person had given up because no one came to assist him and he was unable to find a solution to his predicament.

They only had to wait for him to react to the medical care and, most importantly, the affection he was finally receiving, despite the fact that his condition was critical. It is always reassuring to know that there are people who are prepared to put in the necessary time and effort to save the life of a small animal in need, regardless of how dire the projections may be.

We hope that Chief has the strength to overcome adversity and take advantage of a second opportunity since it simply needs a lot of love and an iron will to live on the small animal’s heart for the magic to happen.

No matter how grave the situation may seem, tales like this encourage others to take the initiative to help other creatures. This little dog was fortunate to find guardian angels who tried their best to change his destiny. It is always worthwhile to lessen the suffering of these defenseless and helpless beings, and at zoorрrendente, we won’t get tired of fighting for animal rights and speaking out against cruel treatment.
