Humane Society of High Plains (HPHS) staff from New Mexico have dedicated their lives toward helping pets in needs, rescuing them and sharing their photos on social media to increase the adoption rate among the population.

In one of the trips, the shelter’s shared photo includes that of a caged puppy. From behind the bars, he looks at people with devastating eyes, begging them for adoption or just a way to get out of there first.

When HPHS shared the photo on social media, it did the job for hundreds of pet lovers from around the world.
His devastated eyes were enough to make the demands for adoption flow in the following days.

Among many applications, the women was chosen to be the companion of this sad puppy forever. Now the puppy is finally glad he got a home of love. He turned into a happy dog as soon as she adopted him.
