The family found the dog’s mom lying along with a litter of six puppies in the snow, warming them and protecting them from the weather in northern Minnesota.
A worried family rescued them and took their mother, now called Snowbelle , and her babies to Rescue of Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue, where they immediately took them into their care.
The three-week-old puppies starved because Snowbelle stopped producing milk at cold temperatures.
Luckily, after being in a warm shelter for a few days and after getting the right nutrients, Snowbelle finally started producing a lot of milk for her babies.
Snowbelle was sterilized and given for adoption.
Her adorable puppies are growing daily, and a few of them have already found their forever homes.
Snowbelle proved to be an amazing mom and managed to keep the puppies alive.
It’s unknown if Snowbelle was always a stray or someone threw her there, but the fact that she and her adorable puppies survived the icy temperatures is a real miracle!
