He has the saddest eyes ever!

You can see his pain and disappointment in his eyes!

This story is about Chico, a 13-year-old Chihuahua mix that his family handed over to the Lancaster Animal Care Center in L.A., California, because he’s too old!

He was placed in the medical ward because the shelter did not want to bother him any more. Everything was quiet, until a kind person came along.

Rita Earl Blackwell, a photographer from the shelter, directly noticed that the dog’s eyes were filled with worries! Chico waved his tail directly when he saw her!

So she took a photo of him and posted the photos on Facebook. A Rescue Specialist named Hillary Rosen saw the photos and took the dog to a veterinary hospital for care.

A dog named Toast will occupy the family until he finds a home forever.
