Hunter refused to leave his best friend’s side as Jazz took one last breath. After Jazz died, Hunter sat in front of Jazz’s empty room for a while, depressed and confused.

Jazz was taken in by The Rhino Orphanage in South Africa , after a farmer found him abandoned within the wild, weak and dehydrated.
Hunter immediately connected with Jazz and therefore the two quickly became inseparable.
The rescue cared for Jazz ’round the clock, nursing him back to health, but his ailments proved to be an excessive amount of for him.
The last two days before Jazz died, he started waking up unstable on his feet and he really had had enough.
He suddenly collapsed after blood began to pool back to his eyes. His pulse dropped and he showed neurological symptoms.
Hunter knew something was wrong and stayed by Jazz’s side until Jazz took one last breath.
After being examined by veterinarians, they concluded that Jazz had hyphema and brain hemorrhaging, which could be due to a genetic disease or an underdeveloped valve system.
Jazz failed to manage the vital signs of his brain, so there was bleeding between the ventricles…
The staff did everything for Jazz and to prolong his life, but his death was unfortunately inevitable.
What makes the savior’s mind easier is that he knew love in the last days and did not die alone in the wilderness.
Hunter sat ahead of Jazz’s empty room for a short time before getting to staff for comfort.
Although he showed signs of sadness, he eats well and plays with his brother. He will now continue his training for a tracking dog.
