Hugo and Elsie were in a terrible condition when they were found by Ray Animal Rescue, in Romania. The rescuers were searching for the pups for over an hour after recieving a call from an individual who spotted the little pups. When Elsie saw one of the rescuers, she provided her paw trying to be rescued, however she wasn’t going to leave her buddy behind.
Shortly after, the rescuers put the two dogs in their vehicle and drove to a local vet. Elsie had a skin condition, her pores and skin were very red and sore. She needed clinical bath treatments for about two months.
Hugo and Elsie were taken to a shelter, where Hugo got adopted very quickly. Yet Elsie was struggling to find her forever home due to her large size as people didn’t really liked her appearance.
However six months later this was about to end, Andreea and Maria visited the shelter. When they saw little Elsie and heard about her story. They immediately decided to adopt her!
