Sadly many dogs die daily because of neglection , accidents or deseases caused by the lack of medical treatments.
Two amazing programs took place in Soledad de Graciano Sanchez in Mexico. The program was launched with help of the services of “Respuesta Ciudadana” an organisation comprised of City Hall workers and residents. The program’s goal is to care for the 300,000 stray dogs in the neighborhood.
The first campaign, known as “ComeDog,” focuses on supplying adequate food and clean water to homeless dogs.
The second service was given by “AmbuDog,”. AmbuDog is an ambulance which drives around all over the city and trys to help injured or dogs in need. “AmbuDog” workers will also be in charge of the dogs’ vaccines and spaying/neutering!
This movement is truly inspiring and the work that these services are doing is incredible. What a creative way for the world to keep an eye out for these poor creatures! Let us spread the word about this incredible gesture and encourage other cities to do the same!
