A dog’s tragic story took a happy turn one day after his former owners dumped him on the road…
Millions of dogs are abandoned every year. Down in Texas, a woman in the film recorded this heartbreaking moment.
According to Newsweek, the incident took place in Horizon City, Texas, where a lady named Joy Dominguez was doing business. But this routine event took a frightening turn when a Texas woman saw a husky left on the road.
At first, the dog appeared to think he was going for a walk together with his human, who helped him out of the car. But the dog’s excitement quickly turned to confusion when his owner gets back to the vehicle, shuts the door, and drives off.
The husky began chasing after the vehicle, but the dog’s desperation did not persuade the people to prevent driving. because the dog’s confusion turned to fear, these cruel folks just drove faster. Thankfully, Dominguez captured the whole thing on film.
The woman gave her video to local media, where it had been broadcast and quickly went viral. Now the husky has been adopted by a family who watched his heartbreaking story on the news – just 24 hours after he was dumped on the road by his former owners.
“When I saw the video and that i saw him run after the car, it just made my heart desire broken,” Maddie Clappsaddle told KVIA ABC-7. “But now that he’s running around and he’s happy, I feel very happy and excited.”
The girl and her brother named their new dog Nanook after watching the 1987 film Lost Boys, according to the station. The abandoned dog was also seen by a veterinarian, who confirmed that Nanook was healthy and had not sustained any injuries during his terrible ordeal.
