Imagine wearing something that is so tight around your neck that you can barely breathe? And to cut your skin little by little? How inhumane can you become? How much should animals suffer because their owner is simply too cruel to help them?
It happened to a cute, innocent dog! He endured this horrible cruelty when his owners put on a collar that was suitable for a puppy and never took it off. This eventually caused an open, painful wound, writes ilovemydogsomuch.
He was left alone, neglected and suffering– but thankfully neighbors finally took notice. Rescuers stepped in after seeing the bleeding from his neck and his obvious neglect.
But after the rescuers set to work, he had hope again. He eventually needed four weeks of care and then surgery.
After everything he endured, his wound healed … And he recovered emotionally, he could play with other dogs and miraculously leave his pain in the past. And keep it there!
