In the area, Fergus was seen limping, but no one was able to get ahold of him.
The family found out that Fergus was found about half a mile from the accident spot. He walked right into a homeowner’s home after she called for him.
The family rushed to the house and reunited with Fergus in an emotional video that was posted on Facebook.
He wagged his tail as his tearful owner stretched out her arms to welcome him back.
Aside from some cuts and bruises, Fergus is ok and is expected to make a full recovery.
The family is thankful for the community’s help, and is beyond relieved to have their furry best friend safe at home with them.
