The girl and her family were walking down the beach when they came across a dog laying on the sand, his gaze fixed on the water. The dog had done it for a cause, it turned out. They were told a heartfelt narrative by a local person.

Josie Mejia, a local, told us about her experience. Her family recently traveled to Punta Negra, a little beach village near their Peruvian home. They arrived to a rough coast and discovered a dog.

The dog simply sat on the beach, his gaze fixed on the water:

«This dog did not appear to be abandoned. He had a handkerchief around his neck and appeared to be tidy. I patted him, expecting the owner to arrive shortly. But no one showed up,» the girl explained.

Josie had no idea how to help the dog, so they turned to the folks on the beach for assistance. Almost everyone in the neighborhood knows and adores this dog, it turns out. One of the men gave them a moving story about why the dog is resting here.

«The guy informed us that the dog’s previous owner was a fisherman who had passed away some time ago. And the dog comes to the beach every day and stares out at the sea, as if expecting him to return from fishing,» the girl explained.

Despite the fact that the dog had no owner, this kid was lavished with love and attention. He is known as Vagiton by the townspeople, who look after him. This is such a heartfelt tale!
