The two friends meet every morning on this quiet street to brighten each other’s day by sitting on the lawn, waiting for their friend to arrive. As Maisy, 11, waits on her front lawn for her friend Richard, he is eager to see him every morning. His father, Mas, posted a TikTok post about Maisy’s father saying, “Here they are this morning saying hello to each other.” Richard walks around my block from the retirement community, and my dog adores him.
As Maisy lay on their front lawn in the morning, she searched for her friend. She got up and walked to the sidewalk when she spotted him. Maisy would walk over to Richard, who would immediately stroke her fur as he approached. When Maisy saw Richard, her tail would wag furiously. Talk about being ecstatic! When Richard approaches, she even lets out a low howl.
Occasionally, Maisy gives Richard gifts, including a special leaf or stick she picked up. Mas hasn’t made clear when or how Maisie and Richard met; it doesn’t really matter. What matters is the friendship they’ve been cultivating every morning they see one another. One of the viewers speculated that they must have known each other in a previous life. It is a unique and inexplicable bond between them that makes them so close. It is especially meaningful for Richard, who may have fewer family and friends living today at his age. It isn’t always easy to get out of bed in the morning when living in a retirement home, but meeting Maisy on his walks helps keep me motivated.
In the morning, it is a pleasure to get out of bed when Maisy is looking forward to seeing you and being your friend. Maisy walked to the sidewalk to greet her best human friend as soon as Richard arrived. Maisy enjoyed having Richard stroke her fur from head to tail.
Despite Maisy’s illnesses and her slow movements on any given day, she always makes up for her friends, who may be missing her. They have nothing but love to give each other. They arrived on the lawn one day a little late than usual and missed Richard on his daily walk. But that’s okay. The next day, they saw Richard, and Maisy got her daily rubs.
Many followers were concerned that the weather would turn cold and Richard would be unable to go on his daily walks .Maisy would miss him terribly. They’ll miss the bridge when they get there, though.
