An injured dog took refuge next to parked cars at a very busy intersection in Romania when a woman called out for it. In honor of his scarred muzzle, she gave him the name Scar. Her gaze wandered across the field while she nurtured this newfound friend, where another stray was tethered from a rope around its neck.
As opposed to Scar, this black dog refused to approach her. After learning that Scar had been mistreated, she heard of another canine who had been labelled ‘bad’ and was being attempted to be killed as well (just awful). After struggling for days, he suddenly appeared to her one day, begging to not be abandoned in the future.
She had to return to Canada for two weeks, but left Scar and Shine in caring hands while she returned home after a grueling 23-hour journey. It didn’t take long for the pups to adjust to their newfound lives – they soon became comfortable with their newfound lives despite being intimidated by their strange new environment!
