Several rescued elephants are housed in Thailand’s Elephant Nature Park. The elephants come from various backgrounds and have experienced difficult lives. Yet, a lot of people are unaware that the elephant sanctuary also cares for approximately 400 rescued dogs, including 32 extra-special canines. The 32 canines are missing their legs as a result of accidents, illnesses, abuse, and neglect.
These puppies probably wouldn’t have survived if the Save Elephant Foundation, which supports and manages the refuge, hadn’t discovered them (which funds and runs the sanctuary). They may have been put to death at the vet or would have continued to be ignored and suffer on the streets.
Instead, the volunteers and the sanctuary provide them with a loving and caring environment where they may live their lives.
Because to the dedication of volunteers and the funds they receive, these dogs have an opportunity to live, run and play. Watch their heartwarming daily routine in the video below.
