He was certain that nobody in the wilderness would care for a dying dog. He lay down and closed his eyes when he was surprised by a warm pair of fingertips.
They discovered that he was ensnared deep under the bushes and phoned “Hope For Paws” for help. Before reaching Tarzan, rescuers JoAnn and Lisa had to weave through some very jagged briars.
But when they urged him to comply, they found that his limbs had lost all vitality, and he was no longer able to walk.
They picked him up using their combined power, then made their way back to the rescue vehicle across the challenging terrain. In the past, dogTarzan was so appreciative of his rescuers that he embraced them and never stopped wagging his tail.
The following several weeks Tarzan spent in the shelter getting in shape. This child charmed his way into his adoptive owners’ hearts after receiving therapy in a foster home. Tarzan has come a long way from being on the point of death to playing with his new canine brother!
