Her father was devastated and worried three years ago when the dog Pakita vanished. He looked everywhere for her, but his efforts to find her were fruitless, leaving him feeling powerless. He didn’t give up though, and he kept looking for her in shelters until his perseverance paid off.

Dad was ecstatic to learn Pakita was still alive and living in a rural shelter three years later. Pakita had been leading a fairly alone and depressing existence there for the last three years. However, Pakita’s response when he showed up to the shelter to pick her up was unexpected.
