Since the domestication of the dog, people have been drawn to them (and they to us). Dogs have helped us in so many ways and expect little in return. They have hunted with us, kept vermin and pests away, served the military and police, assisted the disabled, and faithfully remained our loyal companions. In turn, we care for them and provide them with a good quality of life.

The lovely reunion between a German Shepherd and his owner after some months is heart waring. The pup was absolutely overjoyed to see her owner again, and she goes mad with happiness! The heartwarming was captured on camera and shared online for us all to see, and it’s the sweetest thing we’ve seen in a while!

“After a few months apart, Freya the German Shepherd is finally reunited with her owner in this heartwarming clip,” Rumble Viral said on YouTube in reference to the video. Just pay attention to their joyful shouts! It has accumulated over 14.7 million views since it was released, along with hundreds of likes and comments.

It all started when Freya’s human mother opened the back door for her to let her go outside, Freya greeted her mom like always but she also heard a familiar voice calling her name. She ran out to see if it was the person she thought it would be. And when she sees her human dad, she loses it!

As her dad crouches down to greet her, Freya is so overjoyed that she simply cannot sit still. She spins round in excited circles and whines as her dad pets her, and her tail is wagging nonstop! After so long of not seeing her owner, she’s simply beside herself with happiness that he has returned at long last.

All that excitement energy has finally brought her to exhaustion, and her Freya decides to lay between her owner’s legs and enjoy her first belly rub from her daddy in a long time.
