Dramatic Photoshoot Features a Glamorous Water Ad with a Strikingly Modified Volkswagen Beetle

Mixing up two basic things men love – cars and sexy models – might work sometimes, especially when the ad is promoting an auto related product. But when you mutilate a classic Bug and tune it up to look like a failed parade-car of the 60s we don’t even see the drop-dead gorgeous ladies anymore. Instead, we’re simply shocked by the extreme bad taste the producer has in building decors.

And that is exactly what we just stumbled upon today as we’d cruise the waters of the world wide internet. Los Angeles models Ruby Palm and Toochi Kash are seen doing this super sexy promotional shooting for 138 Water at LA’s trendy grocery curbside delivery PinkDot shop in Los Angeles. They are wearing nothing but really slim swimsuits and pose next to a classic Volkswagen Beetle on Sunset boulevard in West Hollywood, California.

Sun is shining, legs are spread (for some reason that’s supposed to be normal) and the girls are looking better than ever. Good, no problem here. But look at the poor car! The headlights were built to resemble the company’s trade mark, while the roof has a pink propeller hat sitting on it. Then, just take a quick glimpse at those tuned up rims also wearing an ugly pink color.

Hey, it’s no wonder Pink Dot eventually decided to phase it out as they would prepare to expand into Orange County back in the 2000s. In fact, in 2008 they announced a partnership with Ford Motor Company and began using the Ford Transit Connect. In other words, the shooting was most likely starring a “retired polka-dotted, propeller-topped Volkswagen Beetle”.

And when you think that the need for this kind of car was formulated by Adolf Hitler who wished for a cheap, simple vehicle to be mass-produced for the new road network of his country it’s quite fair to say that the Beetle came a long way.
