The Legend of the Black Ghost: Street Racing Legend – 1970 Dodge Challenger 426 Hemi Documentary

The Black Ghost was a legendary street racing car that ruled the West Side of Detroit in the 1970s. With its unbeatable performance, the car earned a reputation as one of the best racing machines of its time. The Black Ghost was a rare car, one of only 22 four-speed Hemi Challenger RTSCs ever made, and it was triple black with a gator green, which made it the ultimate racing car with the best options.

Chrysler was ahead of its time in terms of quality and drive trains, and the Hemi engine was unbeatable. The car was the king of the streets, and nobody knew who owned it. It would just cruise up and down the streets, and guys would pull up to race. The winner would be the first to cross the next light. Godfrey Qualls, the owner of the Black Ghost, was a man who liked the best, and he ordered it.

The Black Ghost was a way for Godfrey and his friends to release their energy and enjoy their love of cars. They grew up in an area with a lot of crime and drugs, but they didn’t get into trouble. Instead, they got into racing over track racing and drag racing. They had a special spot in Detroit where they would race, and the police didn’t bother them. It was just drag races on Woodward.

Godfrey was a man of many hats. He served in the 82nd Airborne in the Dominican Republic and was a dedicated police officer who believed in community policing. He had a good character and was fair, honest, and made good judgments.

The Dodge Challenger was Chrysler’s response to the Camaro and the Mustang. The Challenger was the new performance champ, and Chrysler had the best advertising campaigns. They were just very creative.

The Black Ghost was a rare find, and when the current owner found it, he knew he had something special. The car had been parked for a while, but the current owner was able to restore it to its former glory. The car has sentimental value to the family, and it’s a reminder of the man who owned it and loved it.

The Black Ghost will always be remembered as one of the greatest racing cars of all time. It represents a time when young people would race cars on the street for fun, and it was a way of releasing their energy and enjoying their love of cars.
