The woman from Lublin turned out to be a real monster. For years she had been keeping a female German shepherd dog on her property, which was dying before her eyes. The dog was emaciated and neglected beyond endurance, and she didn’t know what freedom was because of the chain around her neck. The dog was taken away from its owner by the EX GE foundation at the last minute. It is unknown how much longer she would endure in such extreme conditions. The sight of her arouses many emotions.
A poor female German shepherd dog barely survived
Employees of animal rescue institutions are accustomed to seeing animals in distress. Unfortunately, this is part of their job and even though each of them would like to see animals stop suffering, there are still many human monsters walking around the world. An intervention with a 50-year-old woman from Lublin confirms this.
After receiving the report, EX GE Foundation employees decided to act immediately. After reaching the property, the women saw something that really touched their hearts. There they found an extremely poor female German Shepherd dog in an moribund state, which did not resemble the majestic dog of her breed at all.
It was really terrible! It was impossible to describe how a woman could do such a thing. She kept the dog on a chain, in a cold kennel, with no access to food. It was obvious that the dog was sick, had an ear infection and there was no trace of the beautiful fur she probably once had. Kira, because this is the name of the found dog, is practically bald. Tears come to your eyes when you look at her.
The dog was saved thanks to a neighbor
A neighbor notified the foundation that there was a dog in need of urgent help on one of the properties. Previously, she had repeatedly intervened with the dog’s owner and asked her to improve the dog’s living conditions. Unfortunately, to no avail, the heartless woman ignored her neighbor’s comments and continued to neglect the dog.
The woman’s neighbor informed us that the dog’s owner did not respond to her requests and completely ignored them. She then reported the matter to one of the local animal protection organizations, but even though the representative visited the shepherd dog’s owner several times and saw what condition the dog was in, he did not implement any procedures to help the animal. – said Marta Włosek from the EX LEGE Foundation for the Protection of Animal Rights in an interview with TVBN24.
The dog was taken from the property with the assistance of the police. The Lublin police are investigating this case. After being picked up from the property, the dog was taken to veterinary care and received help. She was bathed and examined. We hope that she will soon be given a chance for a loving home, and that her former owner will receive due punishment for her actions.
