Mama dog tries to protect and warm 4 dogs in minus 15 degrees Celsius weather

It was a freezing winter day with temperatures well below freezing.

When we came across a heartbreaking scene in a snow-covered field, we saw several plastic bags that seemed to move.

As we approached, we realized to our horror that they contained a family of dogs—a mother and her four pups.

Desperately trying to keep them warm.

The dog was curled up on top of her puppies, but with the temperature dropping to minus 15 degrees Celsius, it was clear they wouldn’t survive long without help. Without hesitation, we carefully take the dogs in our arms and carry them back to our house. We immediately began drying the shivering pups, giving them full milk to help them regain their strength.

As the cubs drank the milk, they slowly began to float. We also took steps to ensure that the puppies did not develop pneumonia, which is a common risk for young dogs that have been exposed to cold temperatures. We gave them medication to help prevent this life-threatening illness and closely monitored their breathing. Slowly but surely the pups began to gain strength and spirit.

They were full of energy, chasing each other and playing with toys. It was clear that they were grateful to have been rescued from their neglected state and brought to a warm and loving environment. As time went on, the pups grew stronger and their personalities began to shine through. They were curious and playful, always eager to explore their surroundings and make new discoveries, and their mother was always there watching over them and making sure they were safe. The bond between the mother dog and her puppies was unbreakable, and we could see the love and devotion in her eyes as she cared for them. She had been through a lot, but she was still strong and protective, a true symbol of the resilience and strength of motherhood.

As the days turned into weeks, it became clear that the pups were ready to be adopted into their forever homes. We carefully vetted each prospective adopter, making sure they would provide a loving and safe environment for these special dogs. And, one by one, the puppies were placed in their new homes, where they would continue to grow and thrive. However, the mother dog stayed with us. She had become a beloved member of our family and we couldn’t bear to see her go, so she was left as a constant reminder of the importance of love, compassion and care for those who cannot care for themselves. Years passed and the mother dog was still a beloved member of our family. And as we looked back on that cold winter day, we knew that we had been blessed to have had the opportunity to rescue these dogs and give them the love and attention they deserved.
