The street dog lay with a broken and defeated heart in a drain filled with sewage, awaiting death and and that would have happened if the rescuers had not received the call.
Animal Aid Unlimited, India got a call to their helpline about the emaciated and sick dog.
“We found him lying within the filthy water with flies swarming around his eyes,” they said
“He was so skinny that his bones were visible and he was also weak. He didn’t seem to be aware and couldn’t react to his surroundings.”
They took him back to their shelter and began efforts to stabilize him, unsure if they were too late. But a few days later Shyam wanted to eat …
And a couple of months then – we barely recognize him, the transformation is so amazing!!
