The forgotten puppy counted the days, weeks, and months in the shelter and almost lost hope of finding his home forever.
This story is about a poor dog called K-Dog who stayed pretty safe for 800 days in a shelter without being adopted.
The dog, who stayed in West Virginia during a high-kill shelter there, was then transferred to the SPCA of Anne Arundel Country in Maryland.
Nick Crawford, director of the shelter’s office, says one woman went crazy for the dog and decided to adopt it.
His caregivers and handlers sent the dog to his new forever home after confirming that he and his new foster parent were the ideal couple.
His final freedom, captured on camera, was completely adorable, the dog was really happy.
