Bonita is a Pit Bull mix who lives at the Niagara SPCA shelter. She is 6 years old and her biggest wish was to have a home. Bonita always did her best to impress people who would come and see her but she never got to find someone who wanted to adopt her. Even when she tried to show her affectionate personality. After multiple times of rejection, Bonita started losing her faith that she could ever get adopted ,which caused her to lose all of her spark.

Yet a miracle was to happen, when  39-year-old Ray Kinz immediately loved Bonita and decided to adopt her straight away. The shelter worker couldn’t believe that her luck changed since she had been in the shelter whole 500 days making her one of their longest term guests!

The people from the shelter were so happy for Bonita and decided to make that a big deal for her. The stuff gave her a spectacularly grand sendoff while she parades out like a victorious champion. Bonita feels the joy to her bones when the air fills with confetti and glitter!
