The death of a beloved pet will surely break the owner’s heart, especially if it has been with the family for several years. Animal lovers admit that when a pet dies and replaces another, it is simply not equivalent. Apparently the departure of Smiff’s dogs, who make his family happy, really affected his owner Libby Davey, as well as his younger brother Frank.

After Smiff’s death, Davey decided to order a portrait painting of Smiff to be kept on the wall of the house. To her surprise, it seems that the choice not only satisfied her but also Frank who obviously missed his brother…

When the picture arrived, Davey immediately hung the picture on the wall and was shocked to find Frank’s reaction as soon as he saw the picture.

“I think Frank knew that the painting was an image of his brother,” Davey wrote.

Frank obviously could not hide his joy and longing when he saw the portrait of his beloved brother.

Although Smiff is not any longer with the family, he will always be loved and remembered forever.
