Fun has nothing to do with your age. This dog shows this on a daily basis because, despite her advanced age, she still loves the same activities she did when she was a puppy.

Her name is Tessa and her twenty years don’t stop her from giving up old habits, like protecting her family.

Another thing she wouldn’t give up is a fondness for her favorite cuddly toy: a plush banana with which she enjoys cuddling. She adores her cute toy so much that she doesn’t change it for anything and tells everyone how much she adores it.

They have been inseparable since she met this cute toy five years ago. According to her mother Shanne Loren, who bought the toy after another dog destroyed Tessa’s favorite toy, she prefers a banana than anything else in life.

“I spotted it in a pet store sale basket, but I realized it was the same size as the toys she enjoys. “She took the banana the moment I gave it to her,” Loren told The Dodo.

When they have visitors, her mother shows them her toy so that the newcomers can enjoy it for a few seconds as well.

“She wants people to acknowledge it before they leave. And when she leaves it, she puts it on the bed that she thinks is best,” she said. Because, despite being old and having lost some of her hearing, she will not stop hugging her toy banana until the end of her days.

“We ask visitors to let her know that they saw her banana so she can rest. She never treated it like a ‘toy’. It is her cherished possession and her life, ”the mother added.

He is 20 years old, but inside he is really a puppy.
