A shady owner makes discreet visits here to dump their unwanted dogs, according to 86-year-old Eugene Bostick, who lives in Fort Worth, Texas. He then turned his 13-acre property into a haven for these scared and abandoned dogs when he retired from work. Over the years, these dogs became his family, and one of the main reasons for his retirement being happy!
Eugene would always think of unique ways to keep his dogs happy, and that’s how he stumbled upon the quirky idea of a doggie train!
Being a skilled welder, he punched holes in plastic barrels, fixed wheels on them and attached them together like makeshift cargos.
He then hooked them up to a mini tractor and fashioned an exquisite ride for his precious doggie family!
Every time Eugene’s dogs hop in this train, they lose their minds! Every time he takes them on a long ride, they are in awe!
They turn into tail-wagging, starry-eyed little babies while Eugene drives them through the woods and the empty neighborhood lanes.
As they watch the world around them pass by, they smell the air and feel the sun, smiling the whole time!
Eugene feels that rescuing these dogs gives him the purpose to carry on happily in the sunset years of his life. Every now and then, more dumped dogs show up in the deserted vicinity.
As if that wasn’t enough, Eugene also adds another barrel to the train to ensure there’s room for everyone. Aww!
