It’s about a stray labradoodle that used to wander aimlessly around the streets, but whose life was transformed by the kindness of the community and her rescuers.
The unhappy dog was forced to reside under a shopping cart throughout her pregnancy. As an expecting mother, it’s logical that she was alert and vigilant in the face of any threat, even individuals. As a result, when her neighbors arrived to check on her, she just growled viciously at them. They ultimately left some food and water and asked for help from a local rescue group.
Annie Hart, the founder of Rescue From The Hart, and a friend went out immediately away after hearing about the sad doggo. That poor girl was hungry and terrified. They offered her candy, but she refused to leave her hiding place. Understanding her apprehensions, the kind rescuers took their time earning her confidence.
Fortunately, their efforts were not in vain. It didn’t take long for the two kind ladies to win the beautiful puppy’s heart. Annie brought the white dog home and cared for her till she calmed down. Bailey was her given name.
Bailey’s rescuers’ love and care transformed her from a fearful and unsure stray to the happiest doggo on the earth. After a few weeks, she gave birth to a litter of mixed puppies who looked nothing alike!
Once the five puppies were strong and independent enough, Annie supported both the lovely mom and her kids in finding their own loving home. Needless to say, all of the dogs were adopted within minutes of each other. Who could, after all, withstand such enchantment?
