This is the heartwarming moment when a desperate guy is reunited with his long-lost dog after three years. The dog had been living on the streets of Tbilisi, Georgia, for the whole time that his owner, Giorgi Berejiani, was urgently attempting to find him. It took more than anybody could have imagined, yet the bereaved man never gave up hope.

Giorgi felt his heart break apart when he discovered his beloved dog — Jorge – had gone away. Devastated, the man searched him thoroughly. He even sought assistance from his relatives and friends, as well as a local shelter, but the adorable Jorge was nowhere to be seen.
Days came into months, and months grew into years, and there was still no trace of Jorge. The extraordinary attachment between the pup and Giorgi, on the other hand, never shattered. Giorgi never gave up, even though his heart was shattered. He continued to look for him, hoping that one day he would be able to hug him again.
A phone call was going to change everything after three hard years. “We looked for three years,” the guy told THE DODO. “And then we discovered him.”
A store owner in the area named Giorgi approached him and informed him that a dog like Jorge was sleeping in front of his shop. The owner couldn’t believe it, but nothing was certain yet, so he went there right away to see for himself.
