A shelter worker found Picasso as a stray and took him to the shelter. This is his first home. Picasso was observing a girl on the other side of the street very carefully one day as the shelter workers walked with the dog.
Upon seeing the girl with her head on her knees, he ran to hug her and soothe her. The girl was feeling unhappy, and after stroking Picasso and playing with him, she relaxed and felt better. According to Abbey Ellis’ mother, if Picasso didn’t approach her daughter, she would fall.
