As a fierce rainstorm raged through South California, family rushed out to help a homeless female Pit Bull who had just given birth to eight puppies.

For several days, a family had tried to help the Pit Bull, but she was too fearful and preferred to avoid human interaction. As the weather deteriorated, the family sought assistance from the rescue.

A rescuer approaches the mom dog while she is protecting her babies in a small den. As the showers fall hard outside, the mom dog becomes afraid as she notices the man extending out his hand toward her. She does not, flee since she does not want to leave her puppies alone.

The rescuer is aware that the Pit Bull may easily bite his fingers if he immediately takes her babies away. So he starts talking to her in a calm tone, assuring her that he is here to assist her.

The mama dog is in a dilemma as she wonders how to deal with the stranger, but she gradually decides to trust him and let him handle her puppies!

We watch in awe as the rescuer asks the mama dog to kiss her puppies while he pulls them out one by one. That way, the Pit Bull remains hopeful and never sees him as a threat! Thanks to this thoughtful gesture, the dog and her puppies are finally safe !
