There are simply too many heartbreaking videos and images of horrible (let’s be honest) individuals leaving their dogs. We don’t normally cover sad tales on Bored Panda until those furry companions get the joyful ending they deserve. Fortunately, this is one of those stories that has a good ending.
A horrible video of a crippled puppy being abandoned on the side of the road went viral earlier this year, infuriating millions. The video was shot in Sao Leopoldo, a city in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul in the south. The event is thought to have happened about a year and a half ago. The tragic footage shows a white automobile parked alongside an empty road, with a lady coming out and pulling a white dog with just three legs out. The cold-blooded woman drives away after aggressively and heartlessly shoving him. Millions of people were moved to tears after witnessing this horrible footage.

Fortunately, someone identified the sad three-legged puppy in the video barely a day after it was released. As it turned out, the dog had been taken in by the Patas Geurreras animal charity and called TinTin. People later discovered that TinTin was abandoned twice on the same day. TinTin was returned home the first time he was discarded after a woman spotted him on the street, assuming he was lost. His owner, on the other hand, was very cold-hearted and heartless, and he was abandoned again.
When the video went viral, it infuriated millions of people.

Fortunately, someone else discovered him and transported him to an animal shelter. TinTin was being cared for by Patas Guerreras workers in the video, which was eventually uploaded on Twitter. And it gets even better: the gorgeous TinTin quickly found new adoring owners. TinTin is doing ‘exceptionally well,’ according to the organization that previously cared for him, given the horrible circumstances in which he was abandoned. They also mentioned that the crippled dog is being lavished with love and care by his new owners, as he should be.
However, animal rescuers were very cautious about who they trusted with this devoted dog.
Finally, TinTin found new loving owners
To everyone’s relief, police officers managed to track down Tintin’s previous owners. They admitted that they had abandoned the poor dog. Anderson Ribeiro, boss of the Secretariat of Animal Protection in Sao Leopoldo, passed his information over to police who confirmed their investigation on the charge of animal abuse and have called witnesses to testify. The penalty for animal abuse ranges from three months to a year in jail and a fine.
He appears to be content and in good health now.

TinTin, on the other hand, appears to be as happy and healthy as ever. The lovely puppy seemed to have finally found his forever home, cuddled by his new owners.
Especially now that it has been claimed that the persons who dropped TinTin will face jail time.
