Archie had been his owners’ beloved dog for a long time, but when the aging and terrible dog was no longer required, they had no choice but to put the unlucky guy in the car and drive him two hundred kilometers away from home, where he was abandoned in a remote location.

Archie couldn’t understand why people were acting like way, so he decided to return. The elderly dog roamed through the dusty roads for three weeks, searching for food and drink in the muddy puddles.

One day, neighbors saw Archie on the road, recognized him, and yelled out, which elicited a response from the dog. They assumed the dog was merely lost because he had owners, but the owners’ reaction surprised them. They stated that the dog was no longer of interest to them and that they would not be coming to get him.

Compassionate individuals, on the other hand, did not abandon him to his fate. Neighbors raced away on vacation and left him with friends, then shielded Archie when they returned.

The former owners were even more enraged by the situation when they discovered that the dog they had abandoned lived next door. Everyone could see their callousness and cruelty, and one can only speculate if they are troubled by remorse or have no conscience at all.
