“Hope For Paws” received a call about a homeless 3-legged Chihuahua who had been living for months in a shoebox. When the rescuers got on the scene, they were not prepared for the puppy’s bleak situation.

Even when it poured, the Chihuahua lacked the strength to move. She was thoroughly saturated from a recent shower when one of the rescuers touched her. Despite the fact that she had been fed by a family for months, the Chihuahua appeared to be suffering from various medical concerns, which caused her to become severely ill.

The poor puppy had always assumed that no one would care for her because she was ill and crippled. The dog’s eyes brightened up when the rescuers touched her with love and vowed to protect her, and she joyfully greeted the nice individuals who came to save her!

The Chihuahua was given the name “Princess” by the rescuers, who promised to treat her with love and care. At the shelter, she was given a cleansing bath before being admitted to the hospital for treatment of her life-threatening anemia.

Princess has finally recovered and is ready for adoption after months of rehabilitation. She’s a vivacious youngster who goes to her rescuers for hugs and cuddles even on three legs! Princess deserves a permanent home where she will be adored and treated for the rest of her life!
