Ilovemydogsomuch writes about a small fearful puppy that was left alone and chained to a tree.
Dev Naz, a rescuer, hurried out to the dog as soon as he was summoned. He was shocked to see this small child in such evident pain. Someone had abandoned him there, tying him to the tree with wire. It’s beyond our comprehension how someone could be so nasty and inconsiderate.
Dev assumed the dog was paralyzed when he freed him. He hadn’t even moved a millimeter! Dev attempts to move his legs, but there is clearly something wrong. Dev gloves up and cautiously takes the puppy up, unsure if the animal has distemper, which is a prevalent and infectious disease.
When the puppy is loaded onto the back of a truck, he is thoroughly scrutinized. His legs appear to be completely devoid of feeling. What happened to this helpless child? At first, Dev speculates. He speculates that the dog was struck in the rear. However, after he raises the puppy a little, he notices the unimaginable. He has little wounds all over his body. With a pellet gun, a monster shot him!
Dev Naz devises a strategy. He returns to his home with the dog. The next step is to inform the veterinarian that this tiny one need surgery. This will be difficult due to their geographical location and severe financial constraints. Surgery is costly! Thankfully, Dev is capable of doing a wide range of tasks. He can help the dog with discomfort and infection. Dev is trying to arrange the puppy’s operation to remove all of the pellets as soon as possible thanks to contributions.
The puppy is taken to the veterinarian the next day. He also has no feeling in his hind legs, according to the vet. He’ll need scans to figure out what to do next. Even though the puppy is in an unfamiliar environment, he is such a sweet dog! Pellets are found all throughout his little body, according to the images.
The vet and Dev determine that the puppy will need surgery where they can go in and carefully remove the pellets. They hope to do so without causing further damage to the nerves. If the surgery is a success, the little pup may be able to walk again but nothing is for sure.
Can we all unite in prayer for Dev, the vet, and his staff, as well as the dog, of course? We’re overjoyed that this little boy was discovered in time and did not expire from the heat or famine. There is now reason to believe that he will have a happy life. Even if he is completely incapacitated.
