A dog with a rare skull tumor is receiving life-saving assistance from individuals all across the world. The 2-year-old dog’s owners gave her over to a Texas medical shelter.
Bliss was diagnosed with a rare skull tumor called a multilobular ostechondrosarcoma, so friends of

Emma were asked if they would be willing to help with the dog’s end-of-life care.
Through medical examinations, they discovered that Bliss was a healthy young woman in every aspect and wasn’t being neurologically harmed by the condition.

Friends’ Emma changed her focus from “health care” to “how can we treat her tumor” after discovering this.

The founder of the rescue, Elizabeth Hart, contacted a leading veterinary oncologist in Ontario, Canada to learn how Bliss might be saved.

Following several consultations, it was decided that Bliss may have her skull and face bones replaced with a 3D-printed poly(ethylene) implant made in Australia.

The manufacturing company for surge and imlants is now working to develop the ideal custom imlant for Bliss. Friends of Emma will make a long-distance trip from Texas to Canada once everything is prepared so that Bliss can undergo her life-saving surgery.
