After getting a call about an injured poodle, Hope Towards Paws traveled early in the morning for the desert.
The dog was missing his rear paw when Lorena Frankonyte and Eldad Hagar discovered him, and they understood he needed emergency medical attention.

However, the stray dog was quite reticent, and even after being cajoled with food for ten minutes, he refused to emerge from the bushes. When gardeners arrived with noisy machinery, he became even more agitated.
As they started to run low on food, they started to worry that they could lose the dog, so Loreta tried a risky maneuver to catch him.
The terrified dog attacked her many times when she caught him, but she wouldn’t give in!
