John, one of the owners, says he has been driving and enjoying the car since 1978, clocking 144,000 miles over the years. According to the video, the car has an extensive pedigree. It has visited “half a dozen racetracks” including Pocono, Charlotte, and Pittsburg Raceway Park.
Throughout the years, the owner jokingly got to experience the mystique of the car. Other than being a really fun classic sports car to drive, you never know if you are going to make it back home. Understandably, the car is older. Inevitably, some parts are going to give up.

The owner ordered the correct camshaft model, but the local dealer provided a different one. These original pieces are important for a collector, and this particular model only has a few necessary changes.
