Unveiling the Mystery of the Planet’s Most Extensive Classic Car Yard, Boasting a Cumulative Value Reaching into The Millions of Dollars.

In a new video, the YouTube channel Junkyards and Barn Finds with Sean visits the “world’s largest known classic car junkyard.” Presenter Sean Dever travels to Old Car City in White, Georgia, to explore what 34 acres with more than 4,000 rusting vehicles look like.

It’s an adventure sure to test the skills of even the best car spotter, made more challenging by a hurried excursion through the site.

Something For Every Classic Car Lover

Fans of anything from Detroit will find something to like during the tour. Think of a classic car model, and chances are there’s an example at Old Car City. Dever treks through Thunderbird row, flanked by an abundance of Ford Mustangs and Mercury Cougars.

Meanwhile, General Motors enthusiasts will find a Chevrolet El Camino, Camaro, or Tri-Five Bel Air to love. Of course, Mopar buffs will rejoice in numerous displays involving a Plymouth Fury or Duster. There are also Dodge Chargers to check out and trucks from the Big Three. Diligent observers can also see epic imports like the 13-window Volkswagen Minibus.

Exploring A Sad Circle Of Classic Cars

Following a rapid stroll through the car-filled woods, Dever comes across the “car art circle,” a massive sculpture made from the rusted hulks of dozens of classic cars. Viewers can spot a black fourth-generation Lincoln Continental that almost looks like it’s just parked (except for the adjacent stacked vehicles). Nearby, a Ford Galaxie 500 coupe is visible in the creation.

GM fans won’t get disappointed, either. A Chevrolet Corvair sits atop the pile and welcomes visitors to more treasures ahead, including a seemingly restoration-ready Oldsmobile 442 from the model’s second generation. Sadly, the Olds rests on top of the remains of a classic Chevrolet Chevelle.

Uncovering More Hidden Treasures

Dever’s quick pace through this junkyard includes a walk past a covered parking structure (or more like a barn with no sides). The building houses a unique 1946 Ford Half-Ton pickup. It’s significant because it predated the F-Series truck (which debuted in 1948), and this particular Ford came from Johnny Cash’s 1983 movie, Murder in Coweta County.

Viewers also get a too-brief glance at a century-old vehicle that appears to be a Ford Model T. The dilapidated car is a barely recognizable front end attached to a frame with body remnants piled on top.
