Immerse Yourself in 8 Special Details of the 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger

1971 Dodge Dart Swinger

1971 was especially unique for the Dodge Dart Swinger because the trim was solely given to the 2-door hardtop version of the Dart – which is the model’s sexiest configuration in our humble opinion. Up front, the 1971 Swinger featured a split bumper with chrome lining and pushed-in circular headlights, as well as a chrome bumper and rectangular parking lights.

Down the flank, it boasts its gorgeous hardtop roof, complemented by a tasteful chrome strip that runs across the whole body, and an overhanging rear fender. Lastly, the ‘71 Dodge Dart’s rear end makes use of quad rectangular headlights integrated into a chrome wedge-shaped rear bumper, along with a pair of diffuser-like vertical spokes.

All in all, the 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger was a definite step forward for the ultra-popular classic American compact, taking its performance, styling, and interior to the next level with an array of upgrades while still maintaining the low asking price that made it a great buy in the first place
