Hagerty’s Unearthed Collection of Classic Car Barn Finds

Everyone loves a good barn find. Unearthing classic cars that have sat undiscovered for multiple years is always a treat. The Hagerty YouTube channel has its Barn Find Hunter series, where host Tom goes around the United States checking out all sorts of vehicles. In this latest episode of the series, Tom checks out an area just outside Nashville, Tennessee, and finds one of the best collections of barn finds that he has ever come across, and more on top of that.

Unearthing These Classic Cars

The first collection is remarkable. The owner of these cars is Bill, and he is clearly a car guy. The first car they look at is a BMW that has sat around for many years, and was his old daily driver. But recovering from open-heart surgery delayed Bill progressing a lot of things in life. The BMW does drive forwards okay but won’t go backwards, but Bill says he’d be open to selling it for around $1,000. Bodywork wise, this car is still quite solid.

The Classics Keep On Coming

Hagerty Barn Find Daughters Camaro RS

A Chevrolet Camaro RS that was his daughter’s first car is sat on Bill’s property too, the next car though is a surprise that Bill found in someone’s yard. It is a Pontiac Trans Am Firebird, with less than 12,000 miles on it when Bill bought it.

Bill drove it for three years before a fuel pump went. Bill stresses that everything here is for sale, so many of these cars have a chance of a new lease of life. Tom then moves onto another property, and meets AJ, who is a part-owner of what Tom calls a monument of cars. There are 80 cars here and about 60 of them drive.

An Incredible Array Of Cars

There are some incredible machines here. We have a Chevrolet El Camino for one, with a Plymouth Duster nearby that is in pretty good condition. This car is still registered and still drives and is truly stunning. A classic, early Mustang is also part of the collection, and it still has its original hubcaps. The aerial shots of the collection show it off to its full, with some nutty cars such as the 1957 Chevrolet Station Wagon, with its three-speed manual gearbox and deluxe trim. The whole video showcases some truly amazing vehicles
