Discover the enchanting charm of this 1964 Dodge Dart 270 vintage for local car shows


This 1964 Dodge Dart 270 sedan was delivered new to Lakewood Motor Company in Lakewood, New Jersey and was recently acquired by the selling dealer after a reported 30 years with its previous owner. Power is provided by a 170ci slant-six paired with a push-button 3-speed automatic transmission, and recent maintenance is said to have included an oil service performed in preparation for the sale. This Dart is offered at no reserve with the factory manuals and books, original records card, and a clean New Jersey title.

The body is finished in Tan Metallic (YY1) and accented with a chrome hood ornament, stainless-steel beltline trim, and unique medallions mounted on each C-pillar. The seller states that an application of clear coating was applied while under previous ownership in 1996.

13″ wheels wear factory covers and are equipped with a set of Cornell whitewall tires.

The interior is upholstered in matching Tan (H1T) with a color-keyed dashboard, door panels, and carpets. This example retains its pre-delivery instruction tag for the HVAC controls, and several additional gallery photos highlight the interior finishes and materials.

Just over 91k miles are shown on the 5-digit odometer, a handful of which have been added by the selling dealer. Note the TorqueFlite transmission’s push-button controls along the left side of the instrument panel, which would be discontinued on subsequent model years.

The 170ci slant-six was rated at 101 horsepower when new and delivers power to the rear wheels via a 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. Recent maintenance is said to have included an oil service and general inspection performed in preparation for the sale.
