This 1974 DeTomaso Pantera was originally bought at Town & Country Motors in Somerville, New Jersey, on October 10, 1974. The vehicle is painted in yellow and features black vinyl upholstery. Under the hood, it boasts a Ford 351ci Cleveland V8 engine mated to a five-speed manual transaxle.

Noteworthy features include air conditioning, power windows, four-wheel disc brakes, 18″ and 19″ HRE wheels, a Becker Europa AM/FM stereo, and dual ANSA mufflers. Prior to its current ownership since 2013, this Pantera had previously resided in New York, California, and Arizona. Recent maintenance work included the replacement of brake, suspension, fuel system, and climate control components. This Pantera is currently listed for sale with a New York title, being sold by the seller on behalf of the owner.

The Pantera was styled by Ghia under the direction of American designer Tom Tjaarda, and Lusso models feature black safety bumpers as mandated for the US market. This example is finished in yellow and exterior details include black-finished B-pillar trim, pop-up headlights, body-color mirrors, and ANSA quad exhaust outlets. A ceramic coating was reportedly applied to the paint.

Three-piece 18″ and 19″ HRE wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 225/35 up front and 305/35 out back. A space-saver spare is located in the rear cargo area. The car features a four-wheel independent suspension and adjustable coilovers. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner. Brake and suspension services are said to have been performed recently.

The bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl upholstery and are joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, a gated shifter, power windows, shoulder belts, and a Becker Europa AM/FM stereo. The climate control system is said to have been serviced recently. There is a tear in the left seat cover.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a Veglia Borletti 200-mph speedometer and a matching tachometer with a 5,900-rpm redline, while gauges monitoring amperage, fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure are mounted vertically within the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 351ci Cleveland V8 features a four-barrel carburetor, tubular exhaust headers, and a blue-finished engine block, air cleaner assembly, intake manifold, and valve covers. The battery is said to have been replaced recently and the fuel system was reportedly serviced under current ownership.
