A dog owner has taken TikTok by storm with a hilarious video revealing the unexpected reason why she can no longer keep her apartment windows fully open. Brielle Coe, 30, shared the antics of her 1-year-old Dalmatian, Cocoa, who has developed a unique way to enjoy the view from their 17th-story apartment.

The dog’s funny habits make the owner’s Internet difficult

Cocoa, a deaf dog, loves basking in the sun by the open window. What started as a relaxing pastime with her toys soon took a turn for the unexpected. Apparently, while enjoying the rays and the view from their high-rise home, Cocoa would casually let go of her toys, completely oblivious to the laws of gravity.

Coe, initially unaware of Cocoa’s window-tossing habit, noticed a peculiar phenomenon. Her dog’s toys were mysteriously disappearing. It wasn’t until her mother found one of the toys lying on the street during a walk that the truth came to light.

Determined to document the culprit, Coe filmed a TikTok video (@cocoa.the.dalmatian) revealing the reason behind her window woes. The video, titled “Can’t keep my windows open anymore,” quickly went viral, garnering over 3.6 million views and 128,900 likes within days.

“It’s funny because we never saw her drop any balls out the window,” Coe explained. “One moment she had a ball in her mouth and the next I couldn’t find it.” After discovering the first missing toy on the street, Coe even used an old cloth toy as bait to confirm her suspicions about Cocoa’s window-tossing habit.

Fortunately, Coe assures viewers that Cocoa’s playful antics haven’t caused any harm. The street below was deserted during her window-tossing sprees, and Cocoa is always supervised when she’s near open windows.

The overwhelming response to the video has surprised Coe. “I thought I was just posting a silly video that barely anyone would see, but it blew up,” she said.  “There’s also been a lot of people trying to decide if a piece of cloth falling 17 stories is enough to hurt someone.”

Cocoa’s mischievous behavior has charmed viewers across the internet. The viral video has received over 530 comments, filled with laughter and lighthearted observations.
