A heartbreaking beginning for the poor dog

Bubbles, a bull terrier, endured a horrific ordeal at the tender age of six months. Callously shot and brutally beaten, she suffered catastrophic injuries including the loss of an eye and a portion of her jaw. Her story is a stark reminder of the cruelty humans can inflict upon innocent animals.

Rescued from this nightmare by a Houston, Texas animal shelter, Bubbles began her arduous journey to recovery. A CT scan revealed the extent of her injuries, including inner ear damage caused by the bullet’s impact. The road ahead was long and uncertain.

Kilyn described the challenges: “She fractured the joint in her right jaw, but the broken bones had turned into a calcified mass. The opening of Bubbles’ mouth was just approximately an inch and a half wide. It’s incredible that she can eat.” Despite these daunting obstacles, Bubbles’ spirit remained unbroken.
