A young puppy named Tres was recently rescued after enduring animal cruelty that left him with deep wounds and scars. All four of his legs were tied brutally, causing injuries around his lower legs that resulted in the peeling off of one paw, exposing his bones and metacarpals.

Despite the odds, Tres was a fighter and managed to stay alive for six days before being rescued. However, by the time he was rescued, his condition was already severe, with severe infections and pale mucous membranes. The stress level was too high to conduct a blood test, and Tres needed immediate medical attention.

Tres’ foot was skinned whole, leaving only bones of his paws and fingers, and some of the wounds had muscle and skin tissues torn off, leaving his bones exposed. However, the vets worked tirelessly to give him special medications for tissue regeneration, and he began to respond to the treatment.

Over the next few days, Tres lost one foot, and three more were nearly lost. His body temperature fluctuated, and his right leg was at risk of being lost due to poor blood circulation. Despite the challenges, Tres never gave up and continued to fight for his life.

With daily wound cleansing and treatment, Tres slowly started to heal. His wounds on both legs began to heal well, and he was even able to walk and run like other dogs. Despite the long road to recovery, Tres was now a happy and transformed dog, with a loving family and a home at Mama’s Cradle.

Tres deserved a happy life after the difficult life he suffered, and his transformation is a testament to his resilience and the power of love and care. We should continue to support and pray for animals like Tres, who deserve to live happy and fulfilling lives.
