German Shepherd Dog Finds A Family After Being Tied To A Rock For Several Hours In Freezing Water

As sad as it may sound, our canine musketeers are only temporary callers in our lives — still, we’re generally their whole life. And the least we can do during our faves’ last moments is stay with them, making sure that when their time comes, they know they weren’t just faves to us — they were a part of the family.

Unfortunately, saying goodbye to an old dog can be a heartbreaking experience that not everyone can bear. That’s just one of the reasons why some old or terminally ill faves get abandoned or worse — killed.

Back on January 6th of last time, a German cowgirl canine, Bella, nearly drowned in River Trent near Long Lane, Farndon, near Newark after she was left there by her former possessors with her lead tied to a large gemstone submerged in the water.

10-year-old old dog (at the time) Bella was left cruelly and drowned the German cowgirl. She was tied to a rock in the hard water for hours Got Saved And Plant A New Loving Family

Before she was accidentally discovered by two stray dogs, Jane Harper and her friend Joanne Bellamy, she struggled to survive.

Later she was transferred to RSPCA care

As fortuitous as Bella was to survive with a gemstone tied to her neck in the freezing cold water, the exigency visit to the warhorse also showed that she had several other health problems.

After being transferred to RSPCA, Bella was looked after by the lovely and hardworking staff of Radcliffe Animal Center in Nottingham while the beast weal charity and original police launched an disquisition to find who was responsible for the cruel conduct against the canine.

Luckily, the elderly German cowgirl has been in the care of RSPCA for the last 15 months, where she has fully converted and made a full recovery that led her to find an ever home with a sheltered couple, Maggie Mellish and Charlie Douglas.

The sheltered couple, who live in a vill in South Derbyshire, sounded like a match made in heaven for Bella ( now 11 times old) as they preliminarily had looked after cowgirl- type tykes of their own, and were willing to give all the love and attention to Bella as well since their last canine died a couple of times back.

Last Wednesday, the couple went to the center of Bella, who had been taking care of her, because they wanted to spend some time with them before the new pet moved in the next day. The canine’s saviors, Jane Harper and her friend Joanne Bellamy, were also invited along to substantiation the happy occasion and see how Bella was doing.

Maggie, one of Bella’s new possessors, participated her side of the story with the press. Maggie said

“ We as a family have had three cowgirl- type tykes over the last 30 times and really love them. We loosed our deliverance canine Tia/ Luna two times ago and my son’s canine Honey this time. We did really miss them. Also we saw Bella’s story in the press a many weeks ago and the fact She asked for a home, so my son Clare Lusher encouraged us to apply for her.

We know, she’ll need regular warhorse movables and are willing to finance those. We know she’s in her times, but we just want to offer her a loving home she so deserves after all she has been through. We’re both retired, so she’ll have our company constantly, which is what she really needs, and it’ll be great for us too.”
