The Precious Dog Was Left Confused, And He Kept Looking At The Ground With A Dejected Look On His Face

Snuggling with their parents and feeling loved is what all dogs long for. It is how they picture happiness.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of abandoned pups who end up robbed of the love that all dogs deserve. Instead of beaming with happiness, the dogs’ eyes tell stories of sadness in their hearts.

Explorer’s eyes spoke of his hurt feelings and his sorrow after he found himself tied to a crate and dumped at a park.

The precious dog was left confused, and he kept looking at the ground with a dejected look on his face.

A Heartbreaking Scene

Tiffany Maki, a former dog rescuer, was about to leave the park with her pups when she saw a little pooch sitting in the grass at the entrance.

Once she noticed that the dog was all alone and tied to a folded crate, Maki felt saddened.

Since he wasn’t there when she arrived, Maki realized that the pooch was dumped while she and her canines were playing in the park.

The pup, later named Explorer, seemed extremely distrustful, and he kept barking at the passers-by.

The experienced rescuer was aware that the doggo was overwhelmed with fear and that he had no intention of hurting anybody.

Explorer was only a sad and confused boi who didn’t know what was going on.

The fearful pup was acting defensively and trying to make himself feel safe.

“As I would walk closer, he would bark and lunge at me to make me keep my distance. I knew no one else probably would have tried to grab him for fear of being bitten,” Maki told The Dodo.

Maki made up her mind to help him.

She stayed by his side and talked to him until she succeeded in winning him over.

Explorer realized that his rescuer was there to help him, and he let her put a leash over his neck.

Explorer’s Luck Changes

Maki took him home, and she was delighted to witness his transformation into an adorable boi.

Explorer let her caress him, and his eyes radiated with hope and gratitude. He took in all her affection and cuddles.

“After getting home, [he] was the SWEETEST dog and SO well trained. He was crate and potty trained, [and] he knew how to sit, shake, lay down, roll over, beg and heel. Someone loved him at some point,” Maki added.

Maki reached out to the rescuers, and she succeeded in finding a placement for Explorer at Schnauzer Rescue of Texas, located in Houston.

After the pooch spent the night in her home, Maki drove him to the rescue’s vet. Explorer received his vaccines.

He moved to his foster home in Woodlands, Texas, where he received a ton of love.

The loving doggo started his search for his forever home.

Before long, Explorer found a great family who couldn’t wait to cover him in kisses and cherish him forever.

The delightful pup feels safe and happy in his new home. He savors all the love his new family gives him.
